Michigan Glass Project

The success of the Michigan Glass Project depends on contributions and support from all aspects of our community. For it is with this one-ness that we are able to unite to hold events and to donate to our causes. Join the movement

the project is about you!

there are 5 ways to get involved...

1. Donate Cash
The funds you donate will be allocated one of two ways...directly to our charity or to expenses for holding our event which in turns helps us to raise more money for our cause. Use the link below to make a monetary contribution to The Michigan Glass Project. For more information on exactly how we allocate funds, contact us at info@themichiganglassproject.com.

2. Donate Art
The Michigan Glass Project depends on art donations. Each year we pay for flights and lodging for a handful of glassblowers. They in turn make art for us which is then sold via silent auctions, direct, or through raffles to raise money for our charity. We also depend on donations at the door and throughout the year. If you would like to donate something you have created contact us at art@themichiganglassproject.com.

3. Volunteer
From hanging posters to offering legal services, we can utilize any skills you may bring to the table. We cannot hold our event without the tireless efforts of many volunteers and we depend on and appreciate each one of you for your support, energy, and time to make our events a success. If you are interested in volunteering contact us at volunteer@themichiganglassproject.com.

4. Participate
We love to offer torch time to glass artists who would like to sculpt and melt for our cause. We just ask that you be courteous, understanding, and keep in mind that the more artists we include the harder it is to organize and to make everyone happy. But we do the best we can! Our events include a variety of arts so participation is not only limited to glassblowers, but artists of any glass medium, metal workers, ceramic shapers, painters, musicians, and foodies. If you are intested in participating contact us at info@themichiganglassproject.com

5. Vend
Here in Detroit, we have a very close knit group of artists and entrepeneurs. We value everyones contribution to our community. Vending space is open to crafters, distributors, and foodies that would like to peddle their wares. No imports! Our goal is to continue to move our event toward art festival status and to let it serve as a meeting grounds for like minded folks in our region. If you are interested in vending contact us at info@themichiganglassproject.com for a vendor packet and guide.
